organizations in their efforts to limit public acknowledgement of God. We are

(CIR) is a nonprofit public interest law firm dedicated to the defense of
individual liberties. CIR provides free legal representation to deserving
clients who cannot otherwise afford or obtain legal counsel and whose individual
rights are threatened.

The ACLU is a
private volunteer-based, non-profit organization engaged in community education, legislative action, and
litigation on selected civil liberties issues.
The ACLU takes civil rights/civil liberties cases which it believes will
have a far reaching impact on the state
of the law. In the past,
the ACLU has taken up causes involving freedom of association,
freedom of speech, the right to vote, the freedom from unreasonable searches and seizures, separation of church and
state issues i.e. freedom of religion and freedom from
religion, right to a fair trial, etc.

fellowship. While they don't
usually provide free legal counsel, they may be willing to help you if your

issues and offer help even to non-Florida residents.

religious freedoms under the U.S. Constitution.

unfair practices. Many also have online brochures on numerous consumer topics.

nonprofit group offers free consumer advice to legal services providers serving
low income individuals. Private
lawyers can get the same advice for a fee of $160/hr.
The National Consumer Law Center also represents consumer issues before
Congress and government agencies. Do
not call if you are an aggrieved consumer as they will not take consumer
complaints directly from the public.

The Prison Law Office provides
free legal services to California state prisoners, and occasionally to
California state parolees.
California Innocence Project (California Prisoners)
CIP is a law school program that operates out of the Institute for Criminal
Defense Advocacy of California Western School of Law. Students work alongside
practicing criminal defense lawyers to seek the release of wrongfully
convicted inmates, in the state of California, who maintain their factual
innocence. CIP provides pro bono legal assistance to inmates in cases where DNA
testing of evidence or discovery of new evidence can yield conclusive proof of
innocence.
